Wiedeke Brünjes

My career took me from micro to macro: I worked on roughly 1000 Episodes of the succesful ARD Telenovela “Rote Rosen” in various postitions. Then I moved to the Lineproduction Department of the Berlin Based Powerhouse of Independant Cinema: X-Filme Berlin.

In 2014 I was among the twelve european students chosen to be part of the post-graduate course SERIAL EYES, at the Deutsche Film- und Fernsehakadamie Berlin (DFFB). A course that “prepares the next generation of European TV writer-producers to bring first-class storytelling to television screens. Core of the programme is the writers‘ room experience: the twelve Serial Eyes participants learn to work as a group and develop a European model of showrunning” (http://serial-eyes.com/about/)

Subsequently I was hired by Saxonia Media to work as Junior-Producer on the long running hospital Drama “In aller Freundschaft” in Leipzig. With 19 Seasons and an average of 5 Million viewers per week its a big hit in Germany.

Since 2018 in am working for Cinecentrum a subsidy of Studio Hamburg. Currently I am preparing the Second Season of the critically acclaimed comedy Series “Le Parlement” with our fantastic french partners from Cinetévé and the help of France Televisions, WDR and ARD ONE.
