Paula Redlefsen

Paula started as an actress in New York, mostly in English language plays, then directed her own short films in Berlin, which eventually lead her to discover her passion for screenwriting. 
She writes in German and English, from a rebellious, yet tender female perspective. Her favorite screenwriters are Billy Wilder, Vince Gilligan, Jane Campion and Callie Khouri. It is her quest to capture emotional depth, iconic characters and life’s irony.
She founded www.scriptdock.de, which is an open platform for screenwriters, and she worked on numerous script developments. Therefor she is very experienced in the development process, both of her own and others’ projects, and ready to add value to any writers room.
