Ludmila Naves

Ludmila Naves is a writer with a strong background in scripted television and film. A graduate of the prestigious Film School at the University of São Paulo, she has built a diverse body of work and gained extensive experience across genres and platforms. Her credits include series such as Omniscient (Netflix), Juacas (Disney+), Urban Terror (Record), Brainiacs (TV Globo), Invisible City (Netflix), and We Are Five (Globoplay). She has also worked in multicultural writers rooms and international co-productions across Latin America and the United States, collaborating with companies and studios such as Anonymous Content US, Warner Group and Amazon Prime Video.

Ludmila is an alumna of UCLAs Professional Program in Writing for Television and a former mentee of the Women in Film “Writers and Showrunners” program in Los Angeles. Her work includes the true crime series The Evandro Case: A Devilish Plot, nominated for an International Emmy in 2022. The next year, she received the Best Writer Award from Brazil’s Association of Writers and Authors. In 2024 – 2025, Ludmila took part in the Serial Eyes international writers program in Berlin. As a creator, her main interests lie in developing multidimensional, complex characters and blending drama with genres such as crime, thriller and mystery.
