In 2015 Korbinian graduated from the renowned Serial Eyes TV Writing Program organized by the Berlin film school DFFB. He wrote multiple episodes for ZDF’s iconic crime franchise SOKO, including SOKO Munich and SOKO Wismar. Korbinian also wrote for ZDF on Just Push Abuba, winner of multiple international web comedy awards. In 2018 his original screenplay for Marco Polo and the secret of Genghis Khan was awarded 25,000 Euros in funding. His drama pilot Tic Like Tim won an
open call for submissions in 2015, organized by the major German network ProSiebenSat.1 in cooperation with the German writers guild. That same year he won another open call for submissions from the same network with Poliziski, beating out over 800 competing projects. In late 2018 Korbinian wrote five episodes for the second season The travels of young Marco Polo for the German channel KiKA. For several years he’s been a staff writer on the drama series Dahoam is Dahoam,
winner of the Bavarian Television Award. In 2013 Korbinian participated in the Professional Program in Producing at UCLA. He is currently writing an episode for an upcoming NETFLIX series and is developing a project he cocreated for the new German streamer JOYN. In Germany he is currently repped by gattys global, a boutique agency based out of Munich. In the US he’s repped by Gersh. Korbinian speaks and works in English and German.
