Kate Chrisman

Kate Chrisman is an American writer who has lived in Berlin since 2019. She is the co-creator and co-writer of an original Audible audiobook coming out in Germany in 2026. Kate was a journalist in China before following her passion for writing TV. The first pilot she wrote, a halfhour dramedy called OUTSOURCED, won the Belem Entertainment TV Scholarship and placed highly in several prestigious U.S. screenwriting competitions. She’s written and directed one short film and has worked as a professional reader. Kate writes thrillers, dramas, and comedies. She uses the skills she honed as a reporter – uncovering secrets, conducting research, and crafting moving stories – to write compelling narratives for the small screen.
