Heidi Baletic is a London based scriptwriter and novelist. She wrote for Fox Kids, Radio Television of Serbia, Treci Kanal and co-operated with Sky Atlantic, Canal+, Warp films and BBC (“Casualty” Shadow Scheme). Heidi was selected for Guiding Lights Filmmakers Scheme supported by UK Film Council where she was mentored by Nick Hornby. She is an alumni of Serial Eyes TV writing program in Berlin. Heidi is the writer of “Dug Moru”, 11 episode TV series and TV Series “Toma”. She wrote a script for a feature film “Take a Deep Breath” (Best Foreign Language Film award at WorldFest Houston International Film Festival 2005). Her original play “Dead Man’s Coat” was staged in London and Belgrade and was produced as a TV drama for Radio Television of Serbia. Heidi’s adaptation of Danilo Kis’s novels – “The Timetable of Andreas Sam” was staged at Yugoslav Drama Theatre. Her novel “Take Me to Another Place” was published to critical acclaim by Stubovi Kulture. Heidi is currently developing projects in the UK, Germany and Serbia.
