Born in the UK, Anthony is of duel Irish-Indian heritage, a perspective that is perhaps reflected in his love for mixing genres and ideas within his work. He is drawn to narratives which contain playful elements, unexpected, sometimes subversive twists and particularly enjoys high-concept Comedy-Drama, the Absurd, Magic Realism and Sci-Fi. He has won several international script competitions including BAFTA Rocliffe’s New Writing for Film, Hat Trick Productions’ Your Voice, Your Story scheme, Tamasha Theatre’s Comedy Call-Out and has been a finalist/semi-finalist in many others. His short script Reflections won the Bombay Sapphire Imagination Series with the film premiering at Tribeca Film Festival, New York. It was subsequently voted a staff pick on Vimeo.
Anthony’s work has been presented at BAFTA, Soho Theatre London, Broadcast magazine and he has even been featured on the BBC news (for non-criminal activities!) Anthony is currently developing original TV and feature film projects in the UK and Europe. He is based in London and occasionally Berlin and is represented by The Agency, UK.
