Anna-Lena Theobald

Anna-Lena is a screenwriter and showrunner based in Berlin. After her MA degree in Philosophy she studied Producing at the Deutsche Film- und Fernsehakademie Berlin (dffb). She has worked on feature films and TV productions from Germany, China, Canada, the UK and the US. In 2022 she graduated from Serial Eyes and received the prestigious writers’ apprenticeship by Frank Spotnitz’ Big Light Productions in London. She was the jury president of the TV Production Jury of the 2022 Finále Plzeň Festival.

Her first tv series as a creator, headwriter and showrunner is produced by Achtung Panda!, Oma Inge Film and Gustav Film and is co-producey by SWR/Arte for the ARD Mediathek.
