Samuel Jefferson

Samuel is Co-Creator and Head Writer of the award winning original medical drama series BERLIN ER (KRANK BERLIN) for AppleTV+ and ZDFneo (Best Drama Series – Deutsche Fernsehpreis 2025 ). In 2018 Samuel graduated from the prestigious Serial Eyes programme at the Deutsche Film und Fernsehakademie (DFFB) in Berlin. Prior to that, he graduated with Merit from The London Film School with a Master’s Degree in Screenwriting in 2015, and that same year won the BAFTA/ROCLIFFE Competition with his A&E set sitcom. Before attending The LFS Samuel worked as an Emergency Medicine doctor, after graduating with a medical degree from Newcastle University in 2011, where he also wrote several award-winning plays.

As well as his varied screenwriting work, Samuel is a Co-Founder of innovative new Narrative Studio, BRAINS. The studio bridges the gap between games, film, television and visual media, creating daring new “media-agnostic” IPs and immersive experiences.
